'BRYHER' HOUSE - EVENING - INTERIOR LIGHTING
Heavy use of HALO lighting; eminating from inside the building. I like the way the light goes trough the ivy - Thanks to the 'Ivy Generator' Copyright (c) 2007 Thomas Luft. Check it out - it is absolutely FABULOUS!
BACK OF HOUSE - SUNNY DAY
This is the other side of the house, in the shadow of a bright sun. The plants and trees are created by L-Systems, which can be found in the Blender book 'Bounce Tumble 'n' Splash' - a great read for those interested in physical simulations.
BRYHER - SUNNY - ROOF-TOP VIEW
BRYHER - NO MATERIALS - AMBIENT-OCCLUSION ONLY
This render is made up solely of the Ambient-Occlusion layer of a full render. This can be got at through the COMPOSITE page, and activating AMB-OCC in the Render Layer's outputs, and send that only to the COMPOSITE node. Ambient Occlusion is used to create a subtle shadowing effect where mesh areas are close enough to cause a dispersion of their light, creating a slight shading of these areas - it's a really cool effect.
BRYHER - SQUARE-ISLAND!!
A view over the whole model - HALO lighting.
FRONT-OF-HOUSE
Another nice evening shot, with a digital photo sky. Thanks again to L-Sytem trees and The Ivy Generator!
